The design is worked in non-tarnishing silver leaf cording and embellished with clear and violet rhinestones and green kundan stones, all on heavy violet Shalani-weave silk. It's substantial and catches the light beautifully — glittering like snow in sunshine.
Please note: this set is sold as raw embroidered work. The hand-silverwork is complete, but the pieces are not made up into finished garments. You'll receive the embroidered panels and will need to back them (I recommend a stiff muslin behind the silk to support the weight) and sew them into your gown, kirtle, or forepart — or hand them to your seamstress to finish. This lets you build them into exactly the piece you envision.
