This design draws its inspiration from the diamond-paned lattice windows found throughout Tudor architecture — the same diamond quatrefoil pattern seen in the leaded glass windows of the period, reimagined here in gold and silver threadwork, pearls, and kundan stones. The corners are finished with cut smooth purl, adding structure and shine.
Fair warning: this kit is heavy once finished — the metal threads and purl add real weight, giving you a genuine sense of just how substantial goldworked doublets and gowns of the era would have felt to actually wear.
