This design has real history behind it — the pattern is adapted from an extant English bible cover dating to around 1545 -48, its heart-shaped floral scrollwork originally worked in gold on a small, precious binding meant to be handled and treasured. I've taken that same intricate vine and flower motif and expanded it into a full underskirt panel, bodice front, and sleeve set — bringing a piece of Tudor-era book art into wearable goldwork.

Worked in rich gold thread on crimson silk, with hand-sewn pearls clustered at the center of each flower, this set carries the elegance of its 16th-century source while being scaled and shaped for a full Renaissance gown.

What's an underskirt panel set?
This isn't a full garment — it's a set of richly embroidered panels made to be sewn or tied onto a gown you already own (or one being made for you): an underskirt panel, sleeves, and a bodice front. Think of them as the jewelry of your gown — the pieces that catch every eye across the room, and totally unique. I'm the only one in the world making these in real gold and silver.
