A replica of the forepart Katherine Parr wears in her famous full-length portrait, worked in real gold on crimson silk — right down to the gold fringe along the bottom hem, the marker of her queenship.

Around 600 hours of hand embroidery. Laid out the period way with a traditional pounce pattern — pricked and pounced by hand before a single stitch went down, not an iron-on transfer.

Made to tie on like an apron, so you can wear it over a kirtle right away, or sew it in as a forepart — whichever suits you.

Comes without gems or pearls, so you can customize the beadwork to your heart's delight. Matching lower sleeves and bodice fronts available as an add-on if you want the full look.
